Projekt A

"My exhibition is not supposed to be about me," Adrian Hazi (*1998) opens the conversation in his studio. Even though the paintings and ceramics created by the Viennese artist are certainly of personal origin, the works allow an open participation and empathetic disclosure of social and individual processes. Hazi paints worlds, circumstances and possibilities that belong to the reality of most. The figurative but formally graphically simplified depictions are inventories of situations that, in their symbolically communicated representation, become potential possibilities of identification for all.
