The canvas in the works of Linz-based artist Adelheid Rumetshofer (*1976) is a calm field of tension in which space and surface continuously explore their mutual dependencies, starting from color. In the exhibition Autumn Session, the artist shows new works created since autumn. Color, as a medially determining factor of painting, rises in the presented works to a formal, as well as content-related carrier of meaning without explicitly fixing semiotic significance.
