This marks the second solo exhibition by German artist Julian Heuser (1986 born in Frankfurt, lives and works in Frankfurt) at Elektrohalle, showcasing brand new paintings and installations especially conceived for this presentation.

In his artistic practice, Julian Heuser seeks ways to evoke this subtle form of fear. While he does not deny a certain affinity for trash horror, his own works strive for a deeper, psychologically effective level of the uncanny. Through the skillful interplay of abstract and figurative elements, minimalist approaches, and expressive painterly gestures, he creates fields of tension that invite the viewer to actively engage with the work.
